Anonymous asked: How do you know when it's time to leave a significant other behind? We share nothing in common and everyday is a constant struggle to compromise between our beliefs and desires. I used to feel like I loved the kid with my entire heart, but now I feel the need to stray from this relationship and continue on with my own journey. However, I'm a little hesitant that I may be doing the wrong thing here. Im only 20, but part of me believes he will be my perfect half a few years from now, just not now.

I think you have answered the question for yourself.  If you know that it doesn’t feel right anymore, then I think it is time to move onto the next chapter in your life.  Your relationship seems to be more struggle and negativity than it is a reward.  You guys seem to have grown apart, and that is a completely normal and human thing to happen.  You’re YOUNG, you have so much to experience, and a lot of this has to be done alone.  Same goes for him.  You both have to figure out who you are independently before you can fully give yourself to another.  If you are meant to be together in the future, you will find your way back.
